Virtual Cop 2 Pc Game Full Free Download

Full Review:
When it comes to quarter-pumping Arcade machines, few people can satisfy like Sega. The original Virtua Cop made tidal waves by creating virtual baddies who reacted differently based on where you shot them -- while Congress surely didn't approve, it opened up a new dimension of gameplay for trigger-happy arcade gunslingers. Now the sequel is upon us with Virtua Cop 2, and the carnage continues.

Here's the story -- a handful of gangsters have taken Virtua City under siege, and it's up to you to stop 'em single-handedly (or with a buddy, if they want to come along for the ride). Though the game is broken up into three non-linear acts, you're given extra points -- and a new boss to fight! -- if you go through them in a set order. You'll start off with the big chase, where you blast through an urban cityscape while picking off bad guys in cars. From there, it's on to a fun romp through a hijacked ocean liner, and then a rail-line shoot-out that has just as many innocent civilians as gun-wielding punks.

The visuals and overall gameplay are quickened up from the snail's pace of the original Virtua Cop, and the bad guys are far more plentiful. Skill shots are rewarded, with mucho points for head shots and disarming shots. You'll have to watch out for those pesky civilians, too -- they pop up at the most inopportune times, and picking them off will subtract one of your health points.

The only time Virtua Cop 2 feels cheap is during the boss battles -- sometimes, it's impossible to pick off all of the missile projectiles headed right towards your head. Still, you'll have a smile on your face; one of the bosses takes a break from throwing barrels at your head to heave a coffee truck at you. Brilliant!

Though the game is relatively short and the fun is over all too quickly, Virtua Cop 2 is still decent fun. If you're looking for a game that takes the arcade shooter to the next level, check out the House of the Dead games -- but this will do in a pinch.
